Hats of Meat publishes buying advice that can be traced to visible evidence. Recommendations weigh buyer fit, current price, published specifications, sourcing detail, terms, and practical tradeoffs. Payment or a possible commission does not buy a ranking.

Source order

Primary sources come first: official product pages, company terms, government food-safety pages, grading authorities, and published technical documentation. Public ratings may reveal recurring questions, but they are anecdotal and never replace verified product facts.

We link to the most useful source when a claim benefits from direct support. Prices and policies receive a checked date because they change often.

Product and service reviews

Research-based reviews do not imply hands-on use. We state when no private accuracy test, range test, tasting, purchase, or delivery inspection took place. Brand language is attributed to the brand. A missing specification is treated as missing, not guessed.

Rankings begin with the reader's decision. A low price can be a poor value when the package is small, needed hardware costs extra, or cancellation terms are rigid. A high price can be reasonable when the included quantity or service fits the use case.

Wagyu, grading, and origin

“Wagyu” can describe cattle genetics or broad marketing language; it does not by itself prove Japanese origin, A5 grade, a single breed, or a particular marbling score. American and Australian Wagyu products are discussed in their own market and grading context. Claims about origin, grade, certification, and breed need direct support.

Food safety

Cooking and storage advice uses current public guidance from sources such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture. An article cannot account for every kitchen, medical condition, or local rule. Readers should use a reliable thermometer, follow current official guidance, and seek qualified medical or dietary advice when needed.

Affiliate independence

Commercial articles carry an early disclosure. Affiliate revenue may support the publication, but rankings, criticism, and inclusion decisions remain editorial. Advertising, if introduced, will be labeled apart from editorial copy.

Corrections and updates

Send the article URL, disputed statement, and supporting source to webmaster@hatsofmeat.com. We review material corrections and update the page date when the published answer changes. Minor spelling and formatting edits may not receive a separate note.
